Not sure how this bridge compares to the China one,but the pic reminded me of the San Mateo Bridge in the bay area near San francisco.

at many points it is a few feet off the water.
Better Pic.

The longest I have driven over is 23 miles. When I was stationed in Virginia, I drove over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel to get home in NY and back to Virginia..

The Lake Ponchartrain Causeway (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Pontchartrain_Causeway) is the longest I have driven over.
Lets see the quality. But China goods quality getting good everyday.
Isn't there a leisurely boat cruise across the bay.. something less expensive on the tax payers :wink
On a bridge that long is is a very boring drive. At night it is darker than dark!
