Title: What are your IPv6 results?

Apparently, Wednesday, June 8th is "World IPv6 Day" when major websites and CDNs will be sending their content over IPv6.  For instance, if you cannot connect to Google on that day, you will need to surf to http://ipv4.google.com to do your searches.

My best guess is that most people will not experience any problems.  Almost any computer / router purchased within the last 5 years should either be compatible / or easily upgradable.  Most Internet Service Providers (ISPs) *should* already be compatible.  In fact, you can obtain detailed information about your internet connection here:  http://netalyzr.icsi.berkeley.edu/

Please let me know your thoughts on this.  Is the current Internet infrastructure ready for the switch??

In my area (Ohio, USA), none of the ISPs that I've talked to are ready...  If you ask about IPv6 they look at you like you're a bug-eyed alien.  Thankfully there are good tunnel providers available!  :-)

i get the same thing for both IE and Firefox

My IPv6 result is:
No problems detected.
You don't have IPv6, but you shouldn't have problems on websites that add IPv6 support.

i went back to the url provided by EvenBit in the op

they have completely re-done this analyzer
it is very thorough (takes a few minutes to run)
when finished, it gives a full report of your connectivity status

there may be times you would like to run the analyzer locally, (like after a zero-access attack)
they provide the applet as a download...

attached is a simple batch file to run it
place the applet and the batch file in the same folder

well - after having done so, the results are available online   ::)
not much good if you're trying to fix your TCP/IP stack - lol
