Title: IDE
Post by: Pinoy on May 22, 2011, 09:56:53 AM
Is there any other available IDEs that I can use other than VC Express Edition (found this at this link http://www.masm32.com/website/vcmasm.htm)? We had a lecture on this back when I was studying and we are only using notepad  :lol I am looking for a much more lighter solution than VC Express. Thanks

There are a range of both editors and IDEs, RadAsm, Ramon Sala's IDE and a number of other very good tools then you have any of a range of decent editors ranging from commercial offerings to freeware versions, its very much a case of finding what you want. I would recommend that you start with an editor rather than a high level IDE as it means you must learn the command line for ML, RC and LINK.
