Post by: j00n on February 20, 2011, 01:55:30 AM

what are your opinions on this?

The old one is good i thought, very comprehensive and gives lots of actual examples of basic concepts to walk you through understanding particular instructions.

yes - and it's available online, too
there are a few PDF's floating around as well
i also have a PDF of "Assembly Language for Intel-Based Computers" by Kip Irvine
can't comment on how good it is, as i haven't read it, yet   :P
i started to use it, but got legs just working with the masm32 package, Iczelion, etc
