Title: New Kid on the block
Post by: Echo on March 02, 2010, 09:41:47 PM
I just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself.  My name is Ed please call me Echo or 11101101.

I'm 55 years old.  I'm an IT consultant for the past 20 years specializing in networks. I've programmed in C not C++, basic, Java, various other scripting protocols.

I have always wanted to learn some form of assembly language.  I have even dabbled in it over the years; I've always liked the elegance of assembly.  I have no programs I want to write, I just want a new hobby.   I guess that makes me a dilettante or a control freak.  Based on my other hobby, umpiring baseball, (levels from little league through D1 college ball) it's probably both.

Welcome to the forum Echo. Perhaps you can program the perfect ump for a baseball game.
Does such an algorhythm exist?
