Title: getting skittish about Thunderbird
Post by: shankle on January 20, 2010, 07:18:51 PM
Is any one else worried about new versions Of Thunderbird.
I just tried to install OpenSuse 11.2 and found out that SMTP
won't let messages go through. I think they are using the latest Thunderbird.
So I scratched that and went back to PCLinuxOS. I guess I eventually
will have the same trouble there if they update Thunderbird. This is
some security thing that is playing havoc. ATT with the Yahoo crap
might have a hand in it also. Hotmail refused my messages also.
I might have to joining Hutch on kmelion. They wouldn't do anything like
that would they?
Nothing is ever easy.

I have Ubuntu v8.1 and Thunderbird v3.0.1 - the current version - installed. I'm able to receive and send mails.
