Title: Starting ASM
Post by: Paxophobe on March 12, 2009, 03:22:06 AM
Hi, just setting up MASM in notepad++. I noticed that the default highlighter doesn't really get all of MASM, is there a 3rd party one available?

Hi Paxophobe,

There are a number of IDE's out there, check the IDE subforum (http://www.masm32.com/board/index.php?board=10.0) and Genesys (http://www.masm32.com/board/index.php?board=45.0), personally I prefer RadASM, it is the most mature of the assembly IDEs that are still under active development.

Would like to keep using notepad++ if possible. I prefer scintilla. I know theres scite, but, np++ is a bit more friendly to me.

try this notepad++ stylers.xml. It's the Vibrant ink theme.

I use it everyday and it's perfect.
