Hi,
I downloaded masm revision 10 from http://www.masm32.com/masmdl.htm and installed it into my computer. When I accessed the directory \masm32\, the anti-virus AVG (version 8.0.233) reported two files: mnu2asm.exe and procmap.exe, contain the virus above. :eek
Is it possible for someone to check if the file signature has the same as that of above virus and no problem with the actual applications?

AVG is known to report false positives for MASM32 v10:

This "heur" virus is very sly, just keeps popping here and there, lol ...
It's just a name that tags something that the virus software does not understand 'I think.' It is particularly irritating because when we develop applications, they may get flagged by these free and crappy virus detectors and as a result people will not use what we have developed. There is no 'good' solution as long as people will take the 'cheap' route and then depend on what the reports are.

Hutch, did you write those two apps in PB or ASM - just to get a handle on what is going on for my own purposes. None of us believe those virii actually exist but you can go nuts trying to tell people to NOT believe what their only source of protection is telling them.
I used to have a couple of PB licenses but my exwife kept (or threw away) my whole library and all of my notes. So, there is little chance I will do any development in PB, anyway.
