Fn key trouble

Thanks, Michael. It works in a DOS box under Win XP, but the Fn key does not produce anything (I am right now at a Dell notebook). Apparently these Fn keys are really constructed in a way that current flows if you press simultaneously another key. Either I adapt, or I dig out my soldering iron...

I've been looking and the FN key doesn't produce a scan code. It only modifies the scan code. I found the information at the bottom of this site: http://www.win.tue.nl/~aeb/linux/kbd/scancodes-1.html
