How to play a avi movie?
I did try to play a avi file without any sound and it works but when I played a avi with sound it doesnot work.

your post is to generalized, you didn't state what application you used to play the movie and didn't state if the avi files were the same. 1 could be corrupt, or you may not have the proper codec, etc... I highly recommend http://www.videolan.org/ as it'd played anything and everything i've thrown at it(lot of stuff other players such as window media player, realplayer failed at)
