Keep it simple and fast. If one can read core and disassemble it, what is the need of crutches in a mnemonics listing. If its to write less then use a HLL or use macros.

I would personally like to see a much more robust macro engine, so that those who wish to use that kind of feature, at least have the option of doing so (rather than being limited by any one school of thought.)
