qeditor syntax highlighting ??

Is there a way to change the qeditor color scheme ?

Black on white hurts my eyes, too bright. I prefer dark schemes.

I tend to knock the brightness on my screen down to around 20% rather than changing all the editors that I use.

Hutch did make a version with syntax highlighting and a grey background but I'll leave that to him to bring up.

I have intentionally left QE to display the default text and background colour so the appearance is consistent across all applications run on the machine. It is purely a system setting which is easy enough to change. I personally run a medium grey background with black text as it reduces the eyestrain.

I did a test version of QE using the basic method that Iczelion designed with both fixups and speedups but Windows has changed since he did that design. There were problems associated with displaying open type fonts and some fonts were out of phase between the edit control and the API to display the text. It generally worked fine but there were enough problems with the edit control to give up on the idea.

Just wanted to know cause I really like qeditor a lot. Only thing is the black on white is very hard on the eyeballs.
