Hello,

I must admit I'm a newbie with millions of questions. If I find some more time I'll ask them :)

Just one thing: Most of us use the win32.hlp "Win32 Programmer's help". This file is from 1997. I'm very sure, there are millions of new API-functions today!

1. Where exactly can I see an up to date API description? MSDN?
2. Maybe there's a new .hlp/.chm/whatever file that supports the Assembler programmer?

Thanks.

MSDN online is the latest. The old help file is useful becase its fast and handles the standard win32 stuff fine. You can download a PLATFORMSDK from Microsoft if you want later stuff on your local machine.

OK thanks. The platformsdk is a beast which needs installation, I think I don't want this locally.

What a little beast mean to a programmer who deals with dinosaur-language?..
