Hi,..

I've been using QE that comes with masm32 & like it..& am comfortable using it, except for
one thing...
Is there anyway i could assign keyboard shortcuts for some of the options in the menus ?
like,... ctrl+something  or F1, F2, etc,, (function keys).
This would really be a very big help!!!
i knoww there are kboard shortcuts for quite a few things..but none for things like the
assemble & link items, etc..
In any case..given the configurable menu (Which is great!!) - being able to assign keyboard
shortcuts would complement this & would be very good.
[i looked through the documentation, but couldn't find anything on this..]

would appreciate any feedback or help..

Thanks.

I have hard coded into the editor the F8 key that will run MAKEIT.BAT if its present in the current directory but its only in these late versions, the older ones don't have it. The problem with user defined keys is the mechanism to set it up to work, they would have to be written to and stored in an INI file, loaded on startup and there would have to be a mechanism to do it all. The other problem is the editor is running out of available hotkeys as there are many used in it already.
