Probable bug in the auto-indent logic?

Check this...
Start a new file with the auto-indent option ON
type any word, and keep pressing ENTER.

The cursor keeps jumping to the right on every new line. The weird part is that is sometimes jumps the size of the indent and sometimes some other value (really large, ~50 columns :red )

I can't really follow. Can you clarify more?

The strange behaviour has "magically" stopped being able to be reproduced and now HiEditor is behaving properly. But just in case...this was what I had exactly done:

Start a new file (right click on desktop New -> Text File)
Double click it...open in HiEditor (v1.1.0.8)
Type text as such: ABCD<Enter><TAB>EFGH<ENTER>
Here, instead of aligning with the 'E' of "EFGH", the cursor would jump right, as if I had pressed <TAB> TWICE!!! :eek :eek
This was happening for quite some time, then it started jumping a lot many more columns to the right (39 to be precise) and similar behaviour on every next <ENTER> (First 39, then 78 and so on)

This was what WAS happening, it has stopped happening now  :red :red within a space of about TWO hours!!! (Ghost virus  :green :green)

So for now...you can ignore what I was saying!!! (Sorry for the inconvenience)  :'(

Thanks for the feedback,

I 'll try to reproduce and fix it
