A very small application for splitting (and joining back) files. For those who missed the times when CD writers were an impossible luxury and nobody heard about disk-on-key or other miracles. Fully functional - splits by count of parts or by size, runs from command line, supports drag and drop...

Actually I wrote it when one my fellow found elsewhere such program and told that it weighed "only" 24K. Then I wrote my own which weighed 18.  :P

lamer,

Compliments on a nice clean looking site with some interesting toys on it.  :U

The problem I'm having with agsplitter is that I can split a file but, when I try and join them back together, I can only enter one file and it tells me it's ready to join them together.  How do I tell it multiple files to join?

You should chose only one file with .agsp extention from files previously splitted with agSplitter - any of them. Then just press ">>" button until it's finished. You may just drag one of .agsp files onto agSplitter, either onto it's icon or shortcut. I attach the picture, splitted with agSplitter - join it and you'll get Tulips.jpg. Also I attach the image with all steps of joining:

Arrgh.  Now I know why it didn't look like it wasn't doing anything.  It copies over the original file I had on my desktop so I never noticed anything happening.  So it does work.  Thanks.
