hai all people .. hope u all havin nice time there ..... if anyone could hlp me out a little prob.... i want to hav the Prog .work bench that is supplied with the masm6.1 package .. is it available for download somewhere .... also if anyone has already worked on it ..tell how is it to use it as MASM ide..

hutch--

ankur,

It will be a hot copy as Microsoft never released it publically. The other factor is its ancient and hard to set up unless you have a DOS box set for expanded memory. It was a reasonable editor in its time but that time has long gone. Why not try for a much later editor that is easier to use ?

It had this much if you had a use for it, it would perform block clipboard operations which were very useful for column operations.

Vortex

ankur,

There are very nice asm editors on the net, have a look at RadASM , WinASM studio and Easy Code editor.

thanks vortex + hutch ... actually ive tried and working on masm32 .. the editor named Qeditor in the pack is a very flexible and easy to use tool so as such i do not need PWB ... its just that i was alittle curious since every ref to masm6.xx has a mention of pWB ... thanks for ur info
