HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Streams\Desktop\TaskbarWinXP key What you seek may be near this key.

Thanks LaptoniC, I found some interesting stuff in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags\1\Desktop. Now to look into bags, bagMRU et al.
