File attachments should now be working properly.

After more "dicking" around than you could imagine, I have the file attachments working again properly. Installed the update for the forum software and they stopped working. After crawling around the forum software's own forum, I eventually get fed that the new update required a set of server settings that the last one did not but no-one had any info on the server settings. The reference material at php.org did not have the settings so after crawling around the forum for the server I use I eventually find a demo php.ini and extracted the settings from that. Then had to use the full path from the server root for the path setting and the attachments now work.

Clear as mud ?

These are just the inane ravings of someone who detests server side scripting with a veangance.  :P

I suppose I should say that I feel sorry for you but couldn't help finding it amusing, having gone through the same sort of things myself.
