seems to me, the guy wasn't too bright
he put his chewing gum in a citric acid powder to get more life out of it - while he's working on powdered explosives
he probably had no business doing the later - and he definately shouldn't be doing both
like - get a new stick of gum, man

when i read the article, i had to check the date
