Hotbed of South African accents on the NSW Central Coast.

This post is for Van if he ever wants to feel at home in another country. I ws just paying a bill and asked the lady who answered the phone what her accent was and she answered South African. She then told me there are so many South Africans up on the NSW Central Coast that she cannot safely speak in Afrikaan without other people understanding her.

Now if Van ever wants to move to another country, OZ is the place, no-one is game to shoot at you and you can enjoy the company of your fellow countrymen in safety.  :P

The problem is that I'm not excited to meet other South Africans in Oz, and then all talk about the same 'when we..'  things..Nah! I would like to see/meet different people if/when I move...
