Hi anunitu,

Though we here in Northeastern Pa have had many cloudy and gray days of late we just missed the flooding rains from both tropical storms Irene and Lee as they skirted along side my area of the state. But from central PA and to the east they have had more flooding perhaps since they have been keeping records. Over 100,000 folks have had to be evacuated and many people have lost their homes as the flooding continues.

Good to hear you are ok Bill, where I am at there has been flooded streets, but right where I am not bad.

hutch--

I am sorry to hear that it is effecting so many people. We recently had severe flooding in Queensland that made an incredible mess and has cost a fortune to fix.

I remember flooding in my factory years ago, pissed rain all night and when I went to work the water level was still about 3 feet above the floor level. Waited until the afternoon, forced the door as it had swollen then spent the next 2 weeks cleaning up the mess. I lost a bit of equipment that had been on the floor but fortunately all of my heavier industrial stuff had high switchgear that missed the water level.
