I was sitting at a light downtown early last winter waiting for it to turn green, we had just had our first snow fall of the season. Anyway I happened to glance to my left just as a rat the size of a Chihuahua climbed out of a city sewer drain to the left of me. I couldn't believe the size of the beast. It scurried along the curb until it reached the next sewer drain and then disappeared. :eek
