The Australian Rupert Murdoch

I guess this is really what we Americans and Australians have in common; we are both invaders of the country we live. Us the slaughter of the American Indians, Australians the slaughter of the Aborigines. I did not know until I came across this article that Rupert Murdoch is an Australian. He's a putrid sort of man that owns the FOX News channel here in the states, a channel that loves to feed untruths about anything that isn't Christian or Republican. I see he has the same influence towards feeding the Australian masses hate and untruths just as he does here in the states. The mans a creep!

Yes that's true, but it appears he's still very involved in your countries politics and propaganda. :bg

His influence here is waning, it used to be a lot higher and the Murdoch press carried all of that propaganda sh*t from the Bush era here but enough bad stories and conservative bullsh*t have started to move people away, the Fairfax group (Sydney Morning Herald) is both older and a lot more respectable, you have diverse TV coverage but the Internet is doing the greatest damage as it cannot be cotrolled like the old printed media. I confess I have not bought a Murdoch newspaper since the 1960s, could never stand the bastard and all the crap he published.

He tried to float the idea of charging people for viewing his News Ltd website but it seems to have died in the arse like most of his recent activities.
