I have been on and off using RESED for some time now and generally its a good tool with up to date controls and styles that works very well. It saves me from using my antique Norton resource editor which has always been a buggy old pig but there is one thing that badly slows me down using RESED, I cannot use keys to do the final adjustment of a control's position and even with the grid setting down to its minimum I still find the final positioning of controls difficult.

Generally what I do is get it as close as I can then manually edit the RC file to make everything line up. RESED already does group control select amd moves, I wonder if it would be a big deal to put keystroke control to position selected controls, it would certainly make RESED a lot easier to use for those of us who have elderly eyesight.  :P

And another great one (it was originally at my request) is the PGDN/PGUP keys will alter the TAB order of your controls, something very useful when designing dialogs.

"It was just a dream, Bender. There's no such thing as two". -- Fry

Now the next question is, is there a later help file than the CHM that came with the earlier version. I cannot finds any reference to the key combinations that you guys have suggested. The positioning key combinations work well and getting the specs on the rest would be very useful.

I have been using RadASM for so long, I forgotten where I learned about them  :bg  Edgar?  This is from the RadASM 3 help file Dialogs Section of Resource Files:
● Adding a control to the dialog.

Select a control from the toolbox to the left. Then left click on the dialog where you want your control. You can also hold the mouse button and draw it to the size you want.
NOTE!
If you hold the Ctrl key while selecting from the toolbox, the selected button will stay down. This can save time when you want several controls of the same type.

● Selecting controls.

Select a control by left clicking on the control. If you hold the Ctrl key you can select more than one control. You can also hold Shift and left click on the dialog. Hold the mouse button and draw a rectangle. All controls in the rectangle will be selected when you release the button.
You can also use Tab or Arrow keys to select a control.

● Sizeing controls.

Select a control and move the mouse to one of the six sizing rectangles. Left click and drag to the size you want.
You can also hold the Shift key and use Arrow keys to size the control. This also works on a multiselection.

● Moving controls.

Select a control by left clicking on the control. Hold the button and drag the control to where you want.
You can also hold the Ctrl key and use Arrow keys to move the control. This also works on a multiselection.
