There is no need for any changes to RadASM.

When your dialog gets focus:
Save old value of ADDINHANDLES.hSearch
Then set ADDINHANDLES.hSearch to the handle of your dialog.

When your dialog looses focus:
Restore ADDINHANDLES.hSearch
