Hi there. I was making this tester for a treeview filling routine for debug purpose only but ollysbg says that breakpoint is outside the code and i stepped for a long time and didnt get to the point where FillControls is called so i could step into. Why did this happen. Its just a regular .EXE. Can someone look this up and tell me how to put entrypoint==start:??

I had no trouble setting a breakpoint on the 'call FillControls3' line, and everything worked as expected.

-r is a masm paramter? Thanks redskull

lol sorry redskull. Though it seems strange as this usally never happens. I mean the breakpoint outside the code. I was also able to set the breakpoint. thanks

"-r" is his signature - stands for "Red", i think   :P
but, it can be a switch, too
it's nice that Red has his own switch

It's the shorthand version of my custom switch -ReduceToSlowBugRiddledCodeThatNoLongerWorks :bg

But really, I'm just too lazy to spell out a signiture
