A BUG in QE ?

I've noticed that using the clipboard option of the Edit menu QE freezes if the
content is in OEM format, the one I've to use in order to fill the clipboard with
the text extracted from a screen buffer.

The two routines I use to extract the text and fill the clipboard are attached.

I know this one but I have not had time to track it down. It is only a problem if the clipboard is empty after a reboot.
