Cooking Noodles?

I can't figure out why the noodles I fix are tough and chewy and sticky.. . I fully cook them by using a timer and all; the right tempurate.

At what elevation do you live? Noodles don't cook right at high elevations.

I sit at around 750 ~ 1,000 ft above the sea level.

It's probably not the elevation then. If you were in Denver, Colorado it'd be a different story.

What kind of noodles are you trying to cook? Egg noodles? Rice noodles? Udon?

Rice noodles. I put the temperature on the highest to boil the noodles. Only left them to boil for 3 minutes, stirred so often.

I love Thai food. Dishes like Pud Kee Mow, Pad Thai and Rad Nah, all with rice noodles, are some favorites. I haven't met a Thai dish that I didn't enjoy thoroughly.
