Microsoft Macro Assembler 8.0 (MASM) Package (x86)

This can only installed have i the express edition installed
gives this ml and linker standallone?

And use any this allready ?

Hi ragdog,

If you don't have the Express Edition installed, here is a workaround :

a) Download the package and execute it.
b) It will display a message box telling that Microsoft Visual C++ Express Edition 2005 is required but don't click the OK button.
C) Now, go to the temp folder of your profile : C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Temp
d) In the temp folder, you should see a subfolder named something like IXP000.TMP
e) Go to this IXP000.TMP folder and you should see there a .cab file named vc_masm1
d) Extract the file named FL_ml_exe_____X86.3643236F_FC70_11D3_A536_0090278A1BB8
e) Rename that long named file to ml.exe and copy it to a safe location.
