when power is out,, lift goes to ground floor automatically

this is not always a good response
especially if there is a chance that someone (or someones body part) could be underneath
the only hazard with stopping cold is if someones hand is being pinched or something like that
in which case, the program is not likely to "know" what the best response is
that is why most dangerous machinery has switches that allow them to be manually overridden
but - i have not seen the lift - each case is a little different
use your best judgement - i am sure it will be good   :bg
