Hi All,

My apologies for not being around here for the past year or so; besides working crazy hours at work and running a Pro Sound business on the weekends, I've been spending all my free time working on HLA v2.0.

Guess what? It's finally ready.  Yup, after 10 years (HLA v1.0 was introduced in Sept 1999) HLA v2.0 is finally ready for public consumption.

You can find HLA by going to Webster at http://webster.cs.ucr.edu and following the "High Level Assembler" link; then follow the "Download HLA" link on that page and you'll be in business.

Note that the Webster URL has been redirected, so *don't* put in the old URLs for the HLA download page -- they'll take you to some dead-end HTML code on Webster (soon to be corrected). Be sure to follow the links from the main page.

Note that HLA v2.0 currently requires a modern (NT-based) version of Windows.  I have a Win98 version of HLA v2.0 in testing right now, but it's not ready to put up yet.

Good to hear from you again ! Thought you had slipped off the edge of the earth there for a while, I'm sure that Rene will be glad you're back as well :)
