Just one more late fall picture of Northwestern Pennsylvania. This was a picture taken looking southeast over the Shenango valley one early morning from my house some weeks back using my old SLR Fuji digital. Could not believe how orange the sky was that morning. :bg

What a difference 4 months makes. This photo was taken from the same spot as the fall photo. Lordy I can't wait until Spring gets here, its cold!

Steve, it was -20°F (-28°C) here once this season, almost broke a record. It was so cold, cars would refuse to start and run. Driving over snow made a loud, continuous "crunching" sound. (It also didn't help that the city is critically over budget and skimping everywhere, including drastically reducing road salt, which is a necessity around here...) One of the television stations even cracked an egg and placed it in a skillet outside, and it was frozen in seconds. (Thought that was a rather odd demonstration, but they've also done this in the summer to show how fast it can be cooked.) PA also gets some cold weather -- what a contrast to your balmy conditions! :bg

I live right by the Delaware, just across the river from PA, in New Jersey. I does get cold..but in jersey we just throw another Politician on the fire. As you know sh*t burns very well.

Most of the sh!ty winter weather we get here in the northwest parts of PA comes from across the great lake Erie.

I live north of Easton about 15 miles.

No, warren county, right by the free bridge. I am not a native Jersey boy, originally from Oakland and San Francisco, went to Albany NY, then down here to be near my Daughter.
