Okay, here goes. Just a shot of me with a bit of a skinned up nose wearing my Veteran for Kerry button!

And a link to a few other things I have uploaded at Flickr!

Yep. Spent about 11 months at an Autodin facility with the U.S. Army Signal Corp in a place called Phu Lam near Saigon. Also spent about 10 months in training at Ft. Monmoth, N.J. and a couple of months in basic. Figured they would have made an infantry man out of me but, instead they handed me a coffee cup and a huge stack of manuals! Two years was enough for me and I came back to the states and went to work for Digital Equipment Corporation in their Dayton, Ohio field office. A few years later I had made it to lovely Massachusetts to work in their Ed Services department teaching the hardware for awhile and then moving up to their large computer group, actually a 36-bit mini by todays standards, where I started doing systems programming and Macro-10/20 assembly. Didn't much care for the Army but I did love those 12-hour shifts with 3-day weekends and those bottomless cups and cups of coffee!

If they return, they were always yours. If they don't, they never were..

Heh - it's been only a little over a decade since I sported a one foot mohawk and shared a run-down little hovel in Port Melbourne with a packet of mixed nuts.. already seems like a lifetime ago :U

My avitar is my pic with the following 2 modifications....

1- I messed with the colors to give it a pshycadelic look
2- Inspired by the AC/DC album cover, I drew a black line through my eyes.
